Hekmatyar: The Taliban are unable to justify the decision to suspend girls’ education

The leader of Islamic party of Afghanistan says that the Taliban themselves are unable to justify the suspension of girls’ education in Afghan universities.

In a tweet, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of the Islamic Party of Afghanistan, reacted to the Taliban’s suspension of girls’ education in universities and wrote that the Taliban have decided that they are unable to justify their actions.

He said that there is still an opportunity to understand the priorities and avoid such wasteful and destructive decisions.

It should be mentioned that not long ago, the Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban ordered all public and private universities in Afghanistan to suspend the education of girls until further notice.

This order of the Taliban brought strong reactions from the international community, including Islamic countries.
