The Afghanistan Meteorological Department warned of the possibility of snowfall and frost in 22 provinces

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has announced that there is a possibility of rain and snow in 22 provinces of the country, including Salang.

This department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the provinces of Herat, Ghor, Badghis, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sarpol, Samangan, Baghlan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Panjshir, Parwan, Ghazni, Paktika, Bamyan, Daikandi, Uruzgan, Zabul, Kandahar, Helmand, Nimroz, Farah and Salangs.

The directorate added that the amount of rainfall in different places is between 10 and 30 mm, and the amount of snowfall in different places is expected to be between 10 and 40 cm.

This department has also warned that this weekend a cold air front will enter Afghanistan from the west and northwest and will severely affect the western, northwestern, northern, northeastern and central provinces, and most of the provinces will experience considerable cold.
