The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is holding a meeting on the prohibition of women’s education and work in Afghanistan

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has announced that it will hold a meeting regarding the Taliban’s recent decision to ban the work and education of women and girls in Afghanistan.
Organization of Islamic Cooperation wrote in a tweet that a meeting about the latest developments and humanitarian situation in Afghanistan will be held by the executive committee of this organization in Jeddah.
This organization said that this meeting will be held on Wednesday and it will discuss the recent decisions of the Taliban to ban the education and work of women and girls in Afghanistan.
According to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, this organization and the International Academy of Islamic Jurisprudence have described these decisions of the Taliban in their statements as contrary to the goals of Islamic Sharia and the consensus of the Ummah.
It should be mentioned that the Taliban recently closed universities to girls and banned women from working in domestic and foreign institutions in separate decrees.
