Imported electricity from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan was cut off

The Afghanistan Electricity Supply Company has announced the interruption of electricity imported from Uzbekistan to this country due to technical problems.
Breshna said in a statement that the imported electricity of Uzbekistan was cut off at around 4 o’clock yesterday (Friday) due to technical problems.
According to the announcement, the electricity officials of Uzbekistan said that they are trying to solve the problem as soon as possible.
Breshna Company added that in order to solve the electricity shortage as soon as possible, the officials of this company have connected 75 megawatts of imported electricity from Tajikistan to Kabul and imported electricity from Turkmenistan to Kunduz and Takhar provinces.
According to Breshna Company, in order to solve the shortage of electricity in the country, electricity is currently produced to a large extent from domestic sources.
