Interior Minister of Pakistan: It was wrong to equip extremist groups as mujahid

The Interior Minister of Pakistan says that it was wrong to raise Mujahideen by his country and now they have turned into terrorist groups.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Thanawallah said in a statement that Pakistan equipped extremist groups as Mujahideen and this action was wrong.

Emphasizing that there was no need for Pakistan to enter the war, he added that these groups, which were created by Pakistan as Mujahideen, have now turned into terrorist groups.

Yesterday, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif also said in an interview that terrorist groups are using Afghanistan’s soil against Pakistan.

In this interview, he asked the Taliban officials to act according to the Doha agreement and not allow the territory of that country to be used against neighboring countries.

These two Pakistani officials are making these statements while at least 35 people were killed and more than 150 people were wounded as a result of a suicide attack inside a mosque belonging to the police of this country.
