Iran’s former ambassador to Afghanistan: With the presence of extremist groups in Afghanistan, other countries should be worried

Iran’s former ambassador to Afghanistan says that as long as extremist groups feel safe in Afghanistan, other countries should be worried.

Mohammad Reza Bahrami, Iran’s former ambassador to Afghanistan, wrote in a tweet: “As long as the non-native extremist groups in Afghanistan feel safe and free to act under the supervision of the Taliban, not only Pakistan, but other countries should be worried.”

The former ambassador of Iran in Afghanistan made these statements in response to the terrorist attack inside a mosque belonging to the Pakistani police in Peshawar.

According to Pakistani media, this attack was caused by a suicide attack, as a result of which more than 35 people were killed and about 160 others were injured.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for this attack.
