The number of earthquake victims in Turkey increased

The number of victims of the earthquake this morning (Monday) in Turkey, which has also severely shaken parts of Syria, has reached more than 1,500 people.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that 912 people lost their lives and more than 5,000 others were injured as a result of the earthquake in this country.

At the same time, AFP reported that as a result of this earthquake, around 600 people died all over Syria and nearly 1,200 others were injured.

The United States Geological Survey has declared the strength of this earthquake to be 7.8 Richter, as a result of which many high-rise buildings in Turkey and Syria have been destroyed.

According to reports, this earthquake was so big that the Turkish government has asked for international assistance to deal with it.
