Patrushev: America and its allies are trying to take over Afghanistan’s assets

The Secretary of the Russian Security Council says that America and its allies are trying to take over Afghanistan’s assets by blocking its assets.

According to Sputnik, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, said at the fifth multilateral meeting of security representatives about Afghanistan’s problems: “The West is trying to take over the frozen assets of Afghanistan.”

He added that Washington, London and their allies continue to block Afghan assets illegally blocked by them.

Continuing his speech, Patrushev expressed concern about the remaining weapons from the West in Afghanistan and said that there is a risk of using these weapons to intensify the war between intra-Afghan groups, or these weapons will be sold to terrorist groups on the black market.

According to the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, a great source of instability created for Westerners in Afghanistan can spread to all countries in the region.
