The Department of Meteorology warned of the possibility of rain and snow in 15 provinces

Afghanistan Meteorological Department has warned of the possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in 15 provinces.

In a statement, this department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the provinces of Badakhshan, Nuristan, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Panjshir, Bamyan, Samangan, Ghor, Sarpol, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Badghis and Herat, including the Salang highway.

The meteorological department has predicted 15 to 25 mm of rain and 20 to 50 cm of snowfall in different places.

It should be mentioned that in the winter of this year, the residents of most provinces of Afghanistan have witnessed severe cold and snowfall, as a result of which the roads of most provinces were blocked for traffic and led to the death of tens of people.
