Officials of Germany and Uzbekistan discussed the situation in Afghanistan

The special representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan has discussed the situation in Afghanistan in a meeting with the representative of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ismatullah Irgashov, Uzbekistan’s special representative for Afghanistan, met with Mathews Gutenberg, the representative of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia in Tashkent.

In this meeting, both sides exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan and mutual cooperation to resolve the situation in this country.

The representative of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered Uzbekistan’s humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan valuable and appreciated Tashkent’s efforts in establishing peace and stability in this country.
