A woman was killed by her son in Jawzjan

Local officials in Jawzjan say that a woman was killed by her son with a knife in this province.

Officials at Jawzjan Police Command say that a woman was stabbed to death by her son in the village of “Pir-e-Muzeh” in the city of Shaberghan, the capital of this province.

According to them, this boy’s name is Omidullah, and after killing his mother, he burned her body.

Jawzjan Police Command officials add that this boy was arrested by the security forces and is being interrogated.

It should be noted that this is the fourth case of murder in the past week in some provinces of Afghanistan.

On Tuesday, a man killed his fiancee and her mother in Sarpol province with a knife and fled from the area.
