After the Munich Security Conference on Afghanistan, the foreign ministers of 11 countries strongly condemned the restrictions imposed by the Taliban on women in a joint statement.

This joint statement was issued by the female foreign ministers of 11 countries, including Canada, Mongolia, Iceland, Germany, France and Belgium, and condemned the Taliban’s efforts to remove women from all walks of life.

The statement said: “We strongly condemn the Taliban’s attempt to remove women from all areas of public life, which prevents them from walking in parks, they are no longer seen on television screens, they are denied the right to attend schools and universities, and now They are also prohibited from working in humanitarian fields, we condemn it.”

In the continuation of this statement, it is stated that the Taliban, by removing half of the Afghan population from the society, have committed the most serious violation of human rights and are endangering the future of the entire country.

In this statement, the foreign ministers of the countries also announced their support for women in Iran and said that they “stand by the brave men and women of Iran who are fighting for their rights and freedom every day.”
