UNAMA once again called the ban on women’s education in Afghanistan a violation of human rights

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has said in a statement that the Taliban’s ban on women and girls’ education is a violation of human rights and an act of self-harm.
The announcement of UNAMA states that in the next month, the gates of schools and universities across Afghanistan will open for the new academic year, but based on the current decision the educational gates will be closed for millions of Afghan women and girls.
This institution added that this act is a violation of human rights and a huge act of self-harm.
UNAMA further asked the Taliban authorities to take action now to protect the life, livelihood and future of the surety.
