A 6.8-magnitude earthquake shook parts of Tajikistan

Tajik media have reported that this morning (Thursday) an earthquake shook the eastern regions of Tajikistan.

According to reports, the magnitude of this earthquake is 6.8 Richter and its epicenter is 59 km away from the city of “Morghab” in eastern Tajikistan.

Meanwhile geological centers of Europe, America and India have also confirmed the occurrence of this earthquake and reported that this earthquake has also shaken parts of China and northern Afghanistan.

However, so far, no casualties have been reported due to possible damages caused by this earthquake.

It should be mentioned that recently, Turkey and parts of Syria have witnessed several large earthquakes, so far, as a result, at least 46,000 people have died and hundreds of buildings have been destroyed.
