The process of distributing passports in the country will resume next week

Officials of the General Directorate of Passports say that the process of distributing passports in the country will begin on Wednesday next week.
Maulvi Abdul Karim Haseeb, General Director of Passports, said in a news conference that the process of distributing passports in Kabul and the provinces of Afghanistan will begin next week this year.
He said: “The policy of the Islamic Emirate is to provide facilities and deal with the problems of our compatriots. Based on this policy, we tried to start the process of distributing passports in the center and provinces from the next week of this year.”
The General Director of Passport added in this conference that during the last one year, serious efforts have been made to fight corruption, to prevent forgery, and during the last six months, 150 people involved in corruption have been arrested and introduced to judicial authorities.
It should be mentioned that the process of distributing passports was stopped in Kabul and the provinces of Afghanistan in the month of Mizan this year, but the officials of the passport department say that passports have been distributed to patients, students, businessmen and applicants for Hajj and Umrah during this period.
