An Afghan citizen died in a Pakistani prison

Sources in Pakistan say that an Afghan citizen died due to lack of access to health facilities in a prison in Karachi, Pakistan.
In an interview with Deutsche Welle, Manijeh Kakar, a lawyer defending Afghan immigrants in Pakistan, said that an Afghan citizen named Faiz Mohammad died in “Malir” prison in Karachi due to illness and lack of access to health facilities.
He added: “He was infected with a sari disease. “The lack of access to health services has caused prisoners to die as a result of common diseases.”
According to Mrs. Kakar, this is the fourth Afghan citizen who died due to lack of access to health facilities in Pakistan prison.
Meanwhile, the Afghan consulate in Pakistan has also confirmed the death of this Afghan citizen in a prison in Karachi.
It should be noted that since the end of last year, the arrest of Afghan citizens, including women and children, by the Pakistani police has increased.
