8 armed robbers were killed by the Taliban in Balkh

Local officials in Balkh state that there has been a clash between the security forces and a group of armed robbers in this province.

Mohammad Asif Waziri, the spokesman of the Balkh Police Command, says that this clash took place on Tuesday night in the “Khwaja Khairan” area of ​​the 8th Security District of Mazar-e-Sharif city, the center of Balkh province.

According to him, as a result of this incident, 8 armed robbers were killed and two security forces were wounded.

The spokesman of the Balkh Police Command added that as a result of this incident, some ammunition and weapons fell into the hands of the security forces.
