Taliban appointed the governor of Kandahar as the head of Balkh province

After the killing of the Taliban governor in Balkh, the leader of this group has appointed the governor of Kandahar as the head of Balkh province.

Attaullah Zayed, the spokesman of the governor of Kandahar, said that Mohammad Yusuf Wafa, the governor of this province, has been appointed by Mullah Hebatullah as the head of Balkh province.

According to him, Mohammad Yusuf Wafa has gone to Balkh to take over the administration of affairs in this province.

It should be mentioned that on Thursday, Balkh Governor Mullah Davoud Muzamal was killed along with two other civilians as a result of a suicide attack during a meeting in his office.

ISIS claimed responsibility for this suicide attack in a statement and said that one of the group’s forces blew up inside the governor’s office building.
