A young man committed suicide in Farah

Local officials in Farah say that a young man in this province hanged himself and ended his life.

Officials at the Farah Police Command say that this young man hanged himself in the village of “Kariz Mardan” in the Shib Koh district of this province.

Officials add that the name of this young man was Naqibullah, because of mental problems, he hanged himself yesterday (Tuesday) and ended his life.

It should be noted that the number of suicides in Afghanistan has increased over the past year and a half.

Experts say that unemployment, poverty, family and mental problems are the reasons for the increase in suicide in Afghanistan.
