Children’s protection organization called for lifting the ban on girls’ education in Afghanistan

Children’s Protection Organization says that if the ban on girls’ education continues in Afghanistan, child marriages and poverty will increase in this country.
The International Organization for the Protection of Children (Save the Children) said in a statement that if the ban on girls’ education by the Taliban continues in Afghanistan, child marriages and poverty will increase in this country.
This organization added that with the beginning of the new academic year in Afghanistan, female students above the sixth grade should also be allowed to continue their studies.
Oliver Frenchi, the executive head of the Children’s Protection Organization, emphasized that Afghanistan is the only country in the world where girls above the sixth grade are not allowed to go to school, and asked the Taliban authorities to allow all girls to go back to school.
According to the report of this organization, more than three million girls in Afghanistan are currently deprived of going to school.
