A mortar shell explosion in Ghazni killed a child

Local sources in Ghazni say that a child died as a result of the explosion of a mortar head in this province.

Sources say that this incident happened yesterday (Wednesday) in “Chahardeh” village of Waez district of Ghazni province.

At the same time, the officials in the Directorate of Information and Culture of Ghazni Province, confirming this incident, say that the explosion occurred when children brought a mortar head to their house and were busy playing with it.

According to them, as a result of this incident, one child died and 5 other children were injured.

It should be mentioned that two children died in Tagab Keshm district of Badakhshan province yesterday also as a result of a hand grenade explosion.

Officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Badakhshan Province say that this incident happened in a place where children gather, and as a result, two children died and 5 others were injured.
