The Taliban announced the death of three key members of the ISIS group in Balkh

The General Intelligence Directorate of the Taliban has announced that as a result of the operation that took place a few days ago in Balkh province above the hideout of the ISIS group, three important members of the ISIS group were killed.
The Intelligence Directorate of the Taliban wrote in a tweet that as a result of this operation that took place a few days ago in the 5th, 8th and 10th districts, a number of key people of the ISIS group were killed.
Taliban intelligence added that among the dead are Maulvi Ziauddin, the former governor and ISIS’s number two, Abu Omar Afridi, a member of the Khorasan branch council, and Salman Tajiki, one of ISIS’s military training officers.
Last week, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the caretaker government of the Taliban, wrote in a tweet that the special forces of this group conducted operations on the hideout of the ISIS group in the 5th, 8th and 10th districts of Mazar-e-Sharif, the city.
He said that as a result of this operation, a number of ISIS members were killed and some military ammunition was also obtained.
