Thomas West: Terrorism is indefensible for any reason at anywhere

The special representative of the United States of America for Afghanistan says in response to the suicide attack in Kabul yesterday, that terrorism is indefensible for any reason.

Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan affairs, said in a tweet in response to yesterday’s (Monday) suicide attack in Kabul that Afghans have suffered enough and that terrorism is indefensible for any reason anywhere.

According to Taliban officials, 6 civilians were killed in the explosion that took place at the intersection of “Malek Asghar” in the second security district of Kabul.

Khaled Zadran, the spokesman of the Kabul Police Command, wrote in a tweet that this incident was caused by a suicide attack and the attacker was targeted by the security forces in a police station before reaching his target.

So far, no one or group has taken responsibility for this event.
