Taliban: Afghanistan and Uzbekistan will work together on various projects this year

The economic deputy of the Taliban Ministry says that Afghanistan and Uzbekistan will work together in different sectors and big projects in the new solar year based on the understanding between the two countries.

This Taliban entity wrote in a tweet that based on this memorandum, the export and import trade between the two countries will reach one billion dollars in 1402 solar year.

Also, this year, the two countries will work together on the start of the Temrez-Mazar-e-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar railway and the completion of the 500 KV Surkhan-Pul Khomri imported electricity project.

The economic deputy of the prime minister’s office also added that an agreement has been reached to establish joint technical committees between the two countries in the fields of development projects, bilateral trade, water management, agriculture and regional connectivity.

According to this institution, Uzbekistan has assured that the level of electricity exports to Afghanistan will continue according to the contract, and exhibitions of products produced by the two countries will be held in Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif and Termez in the near future.
