The Department of Meteorology warned of the possibility of heavy rain and floods in 13 provinces

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has announced that there is a possibility of heavy rains with floods in 13 provinces of the country.

This department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain and snow with floods in the provinces of Kabul, Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunar, Nuristan, Laghman, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Baghlan, Samangan and Bamiyan, including Salang highways.

The Department of Meteorology has predicted 15 to 30 mm of rain and 20 to 30 cm of snow in different regions.

It should be mentioned that in the past few days, heavy rains and floods in several provinces of the country have led to the death of 23 people and destroyed 700 residential houses.
