Tom West met with the Secretary of the Norwegian Immigration Council

Tom West, the US special representative for Afghanistan affairs, has spoken with the secretary general of the Norwegian Refugee Council about solving the humanitarian needs of Afghans by the international community.

He wrote in a tweet that he met with John Egeland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, and in this meeting they talked about how the international community can continue to meet the humanitarian needs of the Afghan people in a principled way.

The US special representative for Afghanistan has recently met with the officials and businessmen of those countries during his trips to Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Turkey.

He said that during his trip, he also met with the officials of the former government of Afghanistan who are staying in the mentioned countries.

Mr. West called the purpose of his trip to solve the challenges in Afghanistan.
