A traffic accident in Balkh resulted in the death of 11 people

Local officials in Balkh say that 11 people died in a traffic accident in this province.

Mohammad Asif Waziri, the spokesman of Balkh Police Command, says that this traffic accident happened yesterday (Wednesday) in “Shadian” village of Naharshahi district of this province.

According to him, this incident occurred after a Hilux car deviated from the road, and as a result, 11 people, including women and children, died and 12 others were injured.

The spokesman of the Balkh Police Command adds that this incident occurred as a result of the carelessness of the driver and the injured were taken to the hospital.
