30,000 people will go to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year

Officials of the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments say that this year 30,000 people from Afghanistan will go to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj ceremony.
Noor Mohammad Saqib, acting head of the ministry, said in a news conference that this quota was set based on the request of pilgrims, among whom are common people, mujahideen, employees of government offices, heirs of martyrs, disabled people, and immigrants.
According to the Acting Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Awqaf, the necessary facilities such as accommodation, three meals a day and transportation in Mecca and Medina have been considered for the pilgrims, and the first flight of the pilgrims is scheduled on 22th May from Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia.
He added that this year, the expenses of each person who goes to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj ceremony is estimated at 3924 dollars.
