Rina Amiri, the US special representative for Afghan women’s affairs, says that the participants of the Doha meeting agreed on the importance of the rights of women and girls.
Mrs. Amiri tweeted that the participants of the Doha meeting agreed on the importance of the rights of women and girls, and many emphasized that human rights are a fundamental and continuous part of common priorities, including economic stability, migration, stability, and the fight against terrorism, and should be prioritized.
According to him, in this meeting, there was still a consensus on the need for work coordination in the region, between Muslim-majority countries and the international community to support Afghanistan and its people.
The American representative in Afghanistan’s women’s affairs added that in relation to the interaction with the Taliban, many acknowledged the existence of efforts and processes to interact with other Afghans, especially women, inside and outside the country, while enumerating the necessity of interacting with them.
