Islamic Development Bank donated two million dollars to Afghanistan

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced a donation of two million dollars from the Islamic Development Bank to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund.

UNICEF wrote in a tweet that through this donation to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund, UNICEF will buy ready-made therapeutic food to treat more than 18,700 children suffering from acute malnutrition.

This organization added that clean drinking water will be provided to 32 thousand people in rural communities with these donations.
