OCHA: Climate change has reduced access to water in Afghanistan

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan says that climate change has reduced access to water in Afghanistan.
This organization wrote in a tweet that climate change in Afghanistan has reduced access to drinking water throughout the country and the number of families in need of water has also increased.
OCHA added that the proportion of households facing water shortages has increased from 48% in 2021 to 60% in 2022.
According to OCHA, in 2023, $479.4 million is needed to accelerate changes and solve the water and sewage crisis.
