The first deputy prime minister of the Taliban met with the UN special representative in Afghanistan

Maulawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for Political Affairs, met with Roza Otunbayeva, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Afghanistan Affairs and his accompanying delegation in Kabul.
The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate said in a statement that based on recent important achievements and developments in various fields, the international community should have a constructive and positive interaction with the Islamic Emirate.
According to the statement, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Minister of Information and Culture and Markus Potzel, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General for Afghanistan were also present in this meeting.
In this meeting, the Taliban officials also said that they should be invited to participate in the future meetings, because without the representation of Afghanistan, such meetings will not achieve positive results.
