UCHA asked for funds to help disabled people in Afghanistan

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan says it needs urgent funding to help people with disabilities in Afghanistan.

OCHA tweeted that people with disabilities in Afghanistan are disproportionately affected by the current humanitarian crisis, and in 2023, 2.4 million people in the country will be living with disabilities.

The agency added that funding is urgently needed to support people with disabilities, and aid agencies are currently aiming to help 2 million of them.
