A traffic accident in Jawzjan left one dead and two injured

Local Taliban authorities in Jawzjan say that one person died after a traffic accident occurred on the Balkh-Jawzjan highway.

Kefayatullah Sadaqat, the police commander of Faizabad district of Jawzjan, says that this incident happened on Thursday after two trucks collided with each other.

According to him, as a result of this incident, a middle-aged man died and two others were injured.

It should be noted that poor road infrastructure, drivers’ inattention and non-observance of driving regulations are among the causes of traffic accidents in Afghanistan.
