The representative of the UN Secretary General in Afghanistan met with Amir Khan Mottaqi

Hafiz Zia Ahmad, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has announced the meeting of Roza Otunbayeva, the UN Secretary General’s representative in Afghanistan, with Amir Khan Mottaqi, the Acting Director of the Ministry.

He wrote in a tweet that in this meeting, the two sides discussed the interaction between Afghanistan and the world, the situation in the region and the role of Afghanistan in relations with other countries.

In this meeting, Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaqi said that after ensuring security in Afghanistan, it is time to pay more attention to taking practical steps instead of theoretical discussions.

The representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Afghanistan said in this meeting that the priority of this organization in Afghanistan is to deal with the human situation and work on development projects in this country.

Following this meeting, Taliban Foreign Minister said that Afghanistan is ready to interact with the international community.
