A child was rescued from kidnappers in Takhar

Local officials in Takhar say that security forces have freed a child from kidnappers in this province.

Takhar Police Commander Nasrullah Huzaifeh says that this child named Ismatullah, who was kidnapped three months ago from Kabul city, was rescued from the kidnappers by the security forces last night.

Meanwhile, the family members of this child say that the kidnappers demanded two million dollars in exchange for his release.

Officials say that 4 people have been arrested in connection with this incident and are under investigation.
