The Ministry of Telecommunications signed a contract with telecommunication companies to provide telecommunication services in remote areas

The Economic Deputy of the Taliban Prime Minister’s Office has announced that the Ministry of Communications has signed an agreement with private telecommunication companies to provide telecommunication services in remote parts of the country.
This contract was signed in the presence of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office, worth 365 million Afghanis.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said at the contract signing ceremony that the Islamic Emirate considers serving the nation as its duty and tries with all its might to provide quality telecommunication services to the people in addition to providing other conveniences in life.
According to this agreement, Afghan Wireless and MTN telecommunication companies will provide services by establishing 33 sites in remote areas of Kandahar, Badakhshan, Nuristan, Uruzgan, Zabul, Kunar, Nangarhar and Kabul provinces where people do not have access to telecommunication services.
