The Taliban’s public health minister met with the Chinese ambassador in Kabul

Officials of the Ministry of Public Health of the Taliban say that Dr. Qalandar Ebad, the minister of this ministry, emphasized the cooperation between the two countries in a meeting with the Chinese ambassador in Kabul.

In this meeting, the Minister of Public Health appreciated China’s previous cooperation in Afghanistan and said that China is one of Afghanistan’s important partners in all fields.

Dr. Qalandar Ebad mentioned about the reform of the Republic Hospital and added that cooperation is needed to upgrade this hospital.

The Minister of Public Health also asked the Chinese ambassador to cooperate with the Ministry of Public Health in the provision of educational programs under a memorandum of understanding.

In the continuation of this meeting, the Chinese ambassador emphasized on continuing cooperation with the people of Afghanistan and said that his country is ready to cooperate with the Ministry of Public Health in the required areas.
