One hundred Afghan citizens were released from Iranian prisons

Officials of the Taliban Foreign Ministry say that based on the understanding between Afghanistan and Iran, 100 Afghan citizens have been released from Iranian prisons and returned to the country.
Hafez Zia Ahmed, the deputy spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in a tweet that 100 Afghan citizens have been released from Iranian prisons with the efforts of this ministry and according to the memorandum of understanding between Afghanistan and Iran.
He added that these Afghan citizens were transferred to Nimroz province through the silk port.
It should be mentioned that a number of Afghan citizens have been released from Iran’s prisons and returned to the country before this too.
