The Iranian ambassador met with the head of the Taliban railway department

Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s ambassador in Kabul, met with Bakht al-Rahman Sharaft, head of the Taliban Railway Department, and discussed increasing cooperation between the two countries.

The Embassy of Iran in Kabul wrote in a tweet that during this meeting, the two sides discussed increasing railway cooperation, including the operation of the Khaf-Herat railway, the completion and continuation of the route, and educational, technical and equipment cooperation.

It should be mentioned that currently hundreds of tons of commercial goods enter this country by railway through some ports of Afghanistan.
