Ministry of Finance: Smuggling of spices was prevented in Paktia Customs

The Ministry of Finance has announced that the security forces at the Paktia customs have prevented the smuggling of spices in this province.

The ministry wrote in a tweet that officials at the Paktia Customs have discovered and arrested 30 cartons of medicinal herbs that were skillfully embedded in a shipment of imported retail goods and smugglers wanted to import them into the country without customs duty.

The ministry added that the import and export of all kinds of contraband and prohibited goods have been prevented in the country’s customs and the accused have been handed over to the relevant judicial and judicial bodies.
