The Chinese ambassador met with the foreign minister of the Taliban

The Chinese ambassador discussed political and economic issues in his meeting with Amir Khan Motaghi.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, wrote in a tweet that Wang Yu, the Chinese ambassador in Kabul, met with the acting head of the ministry, Amir Khan Motaghi.

He wrote that in this meeting, both sides discussed political and economic issues and emphasized the expansion of relations between the two countries.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in this meeting, emphasis was placed on strengthening the relations between the administrations of the two countries in order to pursue and accelerate political and economic means.
