Karzai spoke with the German Foreign Minister about the situation in Afghanistan

Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, talked about the situation in Afghanistan in a video call with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

Mr. Karzai wrote in a tweet that in this call he thanked the German Foreign Minister for his country’s friendly relations with Afghanistan and Germany’s unwavering support for girls’ education and women’s return to work.

He added that in this call he also discussed the importance of intra-Afghan dialogue as a suitable approach for peace and stable stability in Afghanistan and expressed hope for the continuation of German humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
