Local sources in Nangarhar say that three people were killed and injured following an explosion in this province.

Sources say that the explosion occurred in Achin district of Nangarhar province and was caused by landmines left over from wars.

At the same time, the officials in Nangarhar Department of Information and Culture confirmed the explosion and said that as a result of this incident, two people were killed and another person was injured.

According to them, the injured person was taken to the hospital as a result of this incident.
