The European Union warned of an increase in natural disasters in Afghanistan

The European Union called Afghanistan one of the countries vulnerable to natural disasters such as floods and droughts and said that climate change will lead to an increase in natural disasters in this country.

In a tweet, the office of the European Union delegation in Afghanistan mentioned the construction of a retaining wall by this union in Badakhshan province in order to protect people from floods and warned of the increase in natural disasters in this country.

Earlier, the European Union named Afghanistan as the fourth country most vulnerable to natural disasters.

It should be mentioned that during the last few days, the floods in most provinces of Afghanistan have led to the death of tens of people and the destruction of hundreds of residential houses.
