The US Secretary of State talked to his Qatari and Pakistani counterparts about Afghanistan

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has discussed the situation in Afghanistan with the foreign ministers of Pakistan and Qatar.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has announced that the US Secretary of State had a telephone call with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Acting Minister of the Ministry, about Afghanistan.

The announcement of the ministry states that in this telephone call, the two sides discussed the security situation in the region, including the threat of terrorism, and emphasized their desire to continue close cooperation for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar also said in a statement that Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, acting head of the ministry, talked about Afghanistan and the region in a telephone call with his American counterpart.
