More than 2 thousand Afghan immigrants returned to the country from Iran

The Ministry of Migration Affairs has announced that more than 2 thousand Afghan migrants have returned to the country from Iran.

The ministry wrote in a tweet that 2,947 Afghan citizens have returned to the country from Iran through Islam Qala border.

The Ministry of Migration Affairs added that among these people, 663 of them have been referred to the office of the International Organization for Migration to receive assistance.

It should be mentioned that Iran, Turkey and Pakistan currently host the largest number of Afghan immigrants.
