The Minister of Refugee Affairs of the Taliban met with the Ambassador of Pakistan in Kabul

The Ministry of Refugees and Returnees has announced that Khalilur Rahman Haqqani, the acting head of the ministry, met with Obaidur Rahman Nizamani, the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul.
The ministry said that in this meeting, the problems of Afghan pilgrims living in Pakistan, while returning from Baitullah Sharif, the problems of Afghans who are locked up in Pakistani prisons due to minor crimes or lack of documents.
In the continuation of this meeting, the Minister of Immigrant Affairs expressed his gratitude for Pakistan’s hosting of Afghan immigrants, and demanded the resolution of the mentioned problems and the urgent release of Afghans who were detained due to minor crimes or lack of documents.
At the end of this visit, the Pakistani ambassador promised to issue visas to pilgrims returning from Baitullah Sharif and to release Afghan prisoners.
