Mr. Karzai wrote in a tweet that during this meeting, they emphasized on strengthening the relations between Turkey and Afghanistan and talked about the current situation in the country.

The former president considered education to be an urgent and vital need of the society and appreciated the cooperation of Turkey in the field of awarding scholarships to the youth of Afghanistan.

In this meeting, he also called for the continuation of Turkey’s cooperation with the people of Afghanistan and considered the national dialogue necessary to ensure lasting peace and stability in the country.
