24-hour ambulance service started in Balkh State Hospital
The Ministry of Public Health has announced that 24-hour ambulance services at the government hospital of Balkh Province, worth 130,000 dollars, have been started.
Dr. Najibullah Tawana, head of public health in Balkh province, said that these ambulances will be at the service of the people 24 hours a day for free.
He added: “In the past, people faced many health problems, but Alhamdulillah, with the arrival of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, more attention was paid to this sector. “The lack of an ambulance in Balkh province was considered one of the serious and fundamental problems, but now this problem has been solved.”
It should be mentioned that these ambulances have started operating again with the financial support of the World Health Organization and with a value of 130,000 dollars.
